No, they are not made of ceramic like pottery. Shoes Like Pottery [$165] are called that because they are crafted through a Japanese process called ‘ka-ryu’, a vulcanizing treating that fires rubber in a kiln… like pottery. That process produces an extremely  flexible and durable contrast rubber sole. They also feature a  canvas upper and textured rubber mid-sole with a uber-cool brand logo detail. They are comfy as they are stylish. These are perhaps the hottest shoes on the planet (figuratively). They can be spotted on the feet of cool people everywhere. They are all-the-rage on college campuses, as our intern Jenny can attest to. She wears them daily and has had to print cards to give to all the people who ask where they can get a pair and explain why they are called Shoes Like Pottery.
