Reservoir Bourbon is a true southern classic made with a heavy corn mashbill that produces a sweet, smooth and bright profile. The traditional whiskey drinker will be right at home enjoying this spirit.

My personal preference is to drop a single ice cube and allow it to roll around in the spirit. This will take it down to about 93 proof where the distillers think it tastes best. A great way to enjoy Reservoir is to try it neat and then add a little water at a time. One can experience multiple profiles over the course of a single pour.

From grinding, mashing and cooking the grain all the way to filling each bottle manually and signing the label, Reservoir Distillery is a “by hand” operation.

Ingredients are sourced locally (Richmond Virginia) whenever possible, and the whiskey’s flavor is very much a product of its place of origin.
