As the original sunglasses manufacturer, Foster Grant [$15-$20] has a long, storied history that dates back to 1919. From the boardwalk in Atlantic City to Elvis to “Who’s That Behind Those Foster Grants?” Foster Grant keeps producing fashionable sunglasses, classic styles, driving sunglasses, polarized sunglasses and sporty sunglasses. Today there ares dozens of brands of sunglasses. Ranging anywhere from dollar store cheapos to uber-expensive luxury models. Foster Grant falls into the $15-$20 dollar range. And for that price-point you won’t find a better pair of shades. I recently had the opportunity to try out a few different pairs of Foster Grants and I was very impressed. Their polarized driving glasses are sweet. I am a traditionally a wayfarer guy but after trying out the Foster Grant aviators, I may have to rethink my wayfaring ways. In short, if you are looking for some quality sunglasses that cost less than 40 bucks, you can grab a pair of Foster Grants and feel pretty damn good about it.
