Filet mignon is one of the most delicious, easiest and tender steaks you can cook. When you hear the name “filet mignon,” it’s very easy to get intimidated. Filet does not take very much time to cook, I usually like mine medium pink, and so I cook it for 5 minutes on each side. It just needs to be pan-fried in a skillet on direct heat.
