The Deepflight Dragon [$1.5 M] is actually an upside-down manned quadcopter capable of going 400 feet (122 m) underwater. It’s touted to be so easy to “fly” that any fool can do it. It has Fixed Positive Bouncy, which is a fancy way of saying that it floats by default. You have to power the props to make it dive so when the the propellers stop… it floats back to the surface, like a fat man in the bathtub. Its high-efficiency brushless DC drivetrain and underwater lithium-iron-phosphate battery pack makes the Dragon fast, clean and quiet. A 40V system voltage and low electric signature make the Dragon safe to operate around swimmers, as well as any large marine animals you might encounter.
